Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Introduction: This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed for software development services provided by me. By using my services, you agree to these terms.
  • Refund Eligibility:
    • Description: Refunds will be processed based on the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation.
    • Details:
      • Up to 20 % of the total project: 80% of the total project amount will be refunded if already paid. If unpaid, the client is liable to pay 20% of the project cost.
      • From 20 % up to 40 % of the total project: 60% of the total project amount will be refunded if already paid. If unpaid, the client is liable to pay 40% of the project cost.
      • From 40 % up to 50 % of the total project: 50% of the total project amount will be refunded if already paid. If unpaid, the client is liable to pay 50% of the project cost.
      • More than 50 % but up to 80 % of the total project: Only 20% of the total project amount will be refunded if already paid. If unpaid, the client is liable to pay 80% of the project cost.
      • More than 80 % of the total project: No refund will be provided. If unpaid, the client is liable to pay the full project cost.
  • Non Refundable Cases:
    • Description: Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
      • If the deliverables have been accepted by the client.
      • If the project scope or requirements were changed after significant work was completed.
      • For delays caused by the client, such as lack of communication, delayed approvals, or incomplete information.
      • If the code or software has already been deployed, delivered, or handed over to the client.
      • Any dissatisfaction with work that aligns with the agreed-upon scope and requirements.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Description: Clients can request project cancellations under the following conditions:
      • A full refund will be provided if the project has not yet started.
      • For cancellations after the project begins, refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed, as detailed in the Refund_Eligibility section.
  • Refund Process:
    • Description: To request a refund, clients are required to follow these steps:
      • Send an email to contact@dj-jay.in with the subject 'Refund Request'.
      • Include your full name, project details, and a valid reason for the refund request.
      • Attach any supporting documents, if applicable.
    • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days after approval.
    • Credit Time: Refunded amounts will be credited to the original payment method used.
  • Client Responsibilities:
    • Description: To ensure a smooth refund and project process, clients must:
      • Clearly communicate project requirements and expectations at the start of the project.
      • Respond promptly to queries and provide necessary approvals to avoid delays.
      • Ensure timely provision of all necessary project assets and information.
